What You’ll Do:

As our Finance Business Partner, you’ll be a crucial link between finance and other departments, fostering collaboration and driving informed decision-making. Here’s a glimpse into your daily impact:

• Translate complex financial data for all levels of the organization. Proactively address underperformance and lead improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of excellence
• Craft and deliver insightful monthly management accounts. Ensure accurate posting of journals, including accruals, prepayments, and invoicing, while reconciling balance sheets
• Develop detailed forecasts and budgets using sophisticated financial modelling techniques. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align financial strategies with real-world business needs.
• Participate in the review, development, implementation, and maintenance of robust monitoring systems. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement to streamline operations and maximize efficiency.
• React swiftly to changing business environments by tackling complex ad-hoc financial analyses, scenario planning, and business case development. Utilize a proactive and solution-oriented approach to overcome challenges.
• Maintain financial controls by meticulously reviewing spending patterns, identifying anomalies, and taking swift action to resolve any potential issues. Foster a culture of value for money, ensuring every financial decision optimizes resource allocation.

 Location/Office/Culture:

This is a hybrid role, allowing you to work 2 or 3 days from the office in Worcester while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

What We’re Looking For:

• Recent experience in a similar finance environment
• Fully or part qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or actively pursuing qualification
• Proven experience in complex scenario planning and financial modelling
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on stakeholder engagement
• Strong commitment to value for money principles
