Main Duties:
As a Financial Controller, your main duties include:
- Act as a key member of the site leadership team, providing financial insight and control to support performance and growth.
- Lead month-end close, reporting, and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and clear analysis of results.
- Prepare budgets and financial plans covering profit, cash flow, and balance sheet performance.
- Drive improvements in working capital, financial controls, and operational processes.
- Manage and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Partner with operations and senior management to support decision-making and deliver on strategic goals.
- Oversee audits, stock counts, and compliance reviews to maintain strong financial governance.

What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with at least five years’ post-qualification experience
- Solid background in manufacturing
- Proven leader who can develop and motivate a finance team while managing multiple priorities
- Strong financial reporting, analysis, and internal control experience, with a focus on accuracy and improvement
- Confident user of ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communicator with strong organisational ability and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
