Management Accountant

About the Business

An opportunity to be a Management Accountant for a large, fast-growing company based in Studley. You will be placed in a supportive and friendly team, with room to progress. This is a key role within the finance team, focused on reporting, month-end, cost, and budgeting.

Main Duties:

As a Management Accountant, your main duties include:

• Support month-end close through detailed cost reviews and variance analysis.
• Prepare and analyse weekly and monthly sales, labour, and production cost reports for management.
• Review and analyse costs related to new product development and product write-offs.
• Reconcile monthly revenue between invoicing systems and management accounts.
• Conduct weekly payroll and pension analysis with HR, resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Oversee cost centre allocations and provide regular reports to budget holders.
• Partner with operational and commercial teams to deliver meaningful financial insights.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting for senior management.
• Assist in implementing stronger financial controls and improving key processes.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide cover and support for other finance team members when required.

Location / Office / Culture

This is a well-established and growing business based in Studley, offering a friendly and supportive working environment. The role is office-based five days a week, with flexibility around start and finish times. What We are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a Management Accountants role
• Studying, or part-qualified, in a recognised accounting qualification (AAT, CIMA. ACCA) or qualified by experience.
• Strong communicator and team player, able to collaborate across the business.
• Confident liaising with operations team, and overall people-person.
