Birmingham

Established in West Bromwich in 1993, this firm started out by cutting and packaging portions of frozen poultry. Later expanding into baking, the company now has 20 sites across the UK and six in the Netherlands. Their headquarters is based on Colmore Row.

Headquartered in London, but initially launched in Birmingham in 2017, this company develops a protein supplement for treating skin and hair.

Bournville

Founded in Birmingham by John Cadbury in 1824, Cadbury is one of the UK’s leading chocolate makers, famous for the Dairy Milk. They are responsible for the original establishment of Bournville in 1878, to serve as a home for their factory workers. Their Bournville site also houses “Cadbury World”.

Solihull

Established in the 1930s, this company sought to use soft drinks as a means to provide an affordable source of vitamins. Their head office is situated in Hemel Hempstead, but they have offices in Solihull and Tamworth as well. The company’s brands include J20, Robinsons, and Tango.

Great Alne

Established in 2005, this brewery operates on a farm in Warwickshire. They aim to produce beers using environmentally friendly brewing methods. The company partners with a number of music events, such as Funk & Soul, along with the Wasps RFC.

Redditch

This firm is primarily involved in the distribution of seafood products, especially prawns. Their products are on sale at 44 Foods, an online retailer specialising in seasonal and ethically sources foodstuffs.

Birmingham

Established as a brand of Cleone Foods in 1989, Island Delight produced Jamaican patties for small retailers in Birmingham and London. Now based in the Jewellery Quarter, they sell their pastries in over 100 supermarkets across the country. Their founder, Wade Lyn, was awarded a CBE in 2013.

Lichfield

This Lichfield-based company specialises in the production of salad leaf mixes. They are owned by the French firm Agrial, but they still operate at their site in Lichfield.

Evesham

Founded in Michigan in 1920, this family-owned firm started out by making doughnuts, before expanding into selling doughnut mixes to bakeries. Their UK head office and production site is based in Evesham.

Evesham

Founded in a cottage near Evesham in 1990, this company is sells prepared salads and stir-fry mixes. Known as “The Doc’s Cottage” after the company’s founder, Dr John Randall, the cottage serves as their training suite.

Bromsgrove

Established in 1972, this company began by selling cakes and sweets to local markets around Bromsgrove. Now with 11 depots across the country, they expanded into soft drinks and snack foods, which they supply to 20,000 retailers nation-wide. They still have their headquarters in Bromsgrove.
