A look at some of the best bars in Worcester

As the long nights draw in, it’s all the more reason to go for a Friday night beer when the office closes for the day. Perhaps there’s even a work social before Christmas. Here are some of our favourite night spots around Worcester.

Bolero Bar and Kitchen

Bolero is a daytime and evening venue. It offers a blend of premium drinks and excellent food all served up in a chilled out, relaxed environment. Bolero’s menu uses locally sourced ingredients and puts them together to create a luxurious drinks and dining location. Open from lunchtime till late and located in the centre of Worcester, it is an ideal place to visit for all occasions.

Tonic provides high quality tasty cocktails, along with a wide variety of craft beers. With their mocktail menu, this bar really does cater to all ages. Open until late on the weekends, this place is a real hotspot if you are looking for good vibes and a brilliant service.

The Botanist

The Botanist is a very well-known and successful bar located in every city centre in the UK, making its name through consistent great service, cocktails, and food. With live bands providing a unique atmosphere, it is a no brainer for a pleasant evening with friends or the whole family, including dogs.

Hanbao

If you fancy grabbing a burger, then Hanbao is the spot for you. With a mix of Eastern and Western style burgers, this place really covers all bases. Wash your burger down with one of Hanbao’s various craft cocktails all whilst sitting in their scenic garden. It’s a must-go place for meat lovers.

Café Cadena

If fancy cocktails is what you are looking for, then Café Cadena is the place for you. This beautiful building is home to two bars which cater for groups of all sizes. A stacked cocktail menu can satisfy all your needs, ranging from the classics to more unique beverages. Located in the heart of the city centre, it is worth a visit.

The Cardinal's Hat

This fourteenth century pub is one of the oldest in Worcester. It made its name from its award winning pies and craft lager. Located just a five minute walk from the cathedral, it is the ideal spot if you favour a more traditional English pub.

Tortuga

A Caribbean food and cocktail bar, Tortuga is a great location if you fancy adding a bit of spice into your life. Their blend of Caribbean food and rum-based cocktails provides a real hot spot in the heart of Worcester. With deals on all week round such as “Tiki Tuesdays”, it’s a viable option whenever.

Bottles

Bottles is a wine bar & merchant well-known for its unique products that are not widely available. Wine tasting events take place regularly and are easy to book on to. If you have a taste for wine and other rare types of drink, then get yourself down to Bottles.

The Paul Pry

This old Victorian pub was once used to service the nearby cattle market and people of Worcester, but now it is used to provide the finest craft lagers and delicious food. With an older décor and theme it is another great option if you favour a more traditional English pub.
